New rules make jury service easier

NHS Winter Guard places at Dayton

Last weekend, the Northview Winter Guard competed in the Winter Guard International Championships in Dayton, Ohio. The guard competed in the Scholastic World class which is the top high school class and received 11th place with a score of 84.5. The competition showcases more than 300 winter guards and 150 percussion ensembles from more than 30 states and five countries. More than 10, 000 performers prepare for this event by competing in 29 Regional contests across the country...

Spring golf tourney open to public

TERRE HAUTE-- Wabash Valley Community Foundation, Inc. will host its ninth annual Spring Outing May 1, 2003, at Hulman Links golf course. Registration, lunch and pre-tournament events will begin at 10:30 a.m. with shotgun start at noon. Entry fees are $112.50 per person or $450 per team, which includes golf fees, lunch and dinner. Hole sponsors for the golf tournament are $300 which includes one reservation for dinner at Hulman Lodge...
