The Clay Youth League ages 8 and under All-star team won the Wabash Valley Interleague Tournament at Rile, Ind., over the weekend. The team scored 118 runs while allowing only 12 runs in six games. Brazil resident drowns

A 20-year-old Brazil resident, Jesse W. Stapert, drowned Friday afternoon at Raccoon Lake in Parke County. According to the Indiana Conservation Officers report, Stapert and four friends were swimming at the Hollandsburg boat ramp at Raccoon Lake around 5 p.m. Friday. Three males and two females were in the group that swam out to a buoy about 200 feet from shore. The group was swimming back when they realized Stapert was missing...
