Doris (Hood) Martin, 74, of Carbon, passed away at 1:24 p.m. Feb. 19, 2006, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born April 9, 1931, in Lena, Ind., to James and Wilma Doan (Hood). She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1948. Doris married Elmer Martin Sept. 4, 1948. She then worked for Quaker Maid and Pillsbury for over 30 years.
