Keith E. Thompson, 72, of Reelsville, formerly of Brazil, passed away unexpectedly May 16, 2006, at 5:05 p.m. at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born May 7, 1934, in Poland, Indiana, the son of Edward Thompson and Anise Bullerdick Thompson. He graduated from Van Buren High School, Class of 1952. On May 7, 1952, he married Amelia A. Mayday! Mayday! Emergency personnel was on hand as an airplane experiencing engine failure made an emergency landing at Clay County Airport Wednesday, according to Clay County Sheriff Mike Heaton. County officials interested in Pinckley St.

Clay County is still interested in cooperating with the City of Brazil on a project that would restore a portion of Pinckley Street in 2008, according to Board of Commissioners President Charlie Brown.
