Anna L. Nicholls, 81, Poland, died following an automobile accident Friday, Oct. 15, 2010. She was born Nov. 19, 1928, in Owen County, the daughter of Lafe and Elsie Smith Schopmeyer. Following graduation from high school, she continued on at "Smart Appearance" Beauty School. On Oct. 17, 1948, Anna married John E. Nicholls. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1973. Together Anna and John owned and operated the "Snack Bar" restaurant in Poland for 26 years...
