Accidents keep personnel busy Monday

A pair of accidents kept emergency response personnel busy Monday afternoon. At approximately 2:15 p.m., Clay County Sheriff's Department officials were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on State Road 59, near the Clay-Parke line. CCSD Sgt. Jason Frazier told The Brazil Times a Parke County Highway Department vehicle, driven by Allen Harney, 49, was traveling southbound on SR 59 when a Mercury Sable, which was traveling west on County Road 1500 North, failed to yield the right of way and pulled out in front of the highway vehicle.. ...
