Bobbie Jo Miller York, 59, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Vidalia, Ga., on May 1, 2014. Bobbie was born on August 28, 1954, to Bob and Betty Miller whom preceded her in death. Jury finds Brazil man guilty in severe beating of girlfriend

A Brazil man is awaiting sentencing after a jury found him guilty last month in the severe beating of his girlfriend. William L. Holt, 46, will now be sentenced on charges of battery resulting in serious bodily injury, a Class C felony, and domestic battery, an A misdemeanor.
