John L. Hickey, II, 64 of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in his residence. He was born in Clay County on January 10, 1950 to John Lester Hickey I and Hila O. McGinty Hickey Siner. John, being a man of very few words, was a dedicated family man who enjoyed playing golf in his spare time and loved all sports. Brazil officials are changing the city's lawn meter program. During the Brazil Board of Public Works and Safety meeting on Wednesday, City Attorney Traci Orman said the present program allows residents to lease a lawn meter for a designated period of time for $100, part of which is reimbursed upon return to the city.
