Drew Cook of Brazil, Indiana (10-11 year old boys group) was a first place winner in the fourth round of competition in the Elks "Hoop Shoot" free throw contest held in Angola, on Saturday. Drew was sponsored by the Brazil Elks Lodge 762. Drew made 23 out of 25 free throws to win his age group, and also received the "Bob Bartolameoli" award for being the outstanding shooter in the Boys Division. ...

Annunciation Church plans Good Friday service

As evening falls on Good Friday, a special Tenebrae service will take place at Annunciation Catholic Church at 8:00 PM.
