Two face felony battery charges after man is severely beaten

Two Brazil residents face felony battery charges after police say they severely beat a man early Sunday in a downtown parking lot. Dustin L. Patterson, 28, and William P. Archer, 23, were charged Tuesday in Clay Circuit Court on felony charges of aggravated battery and battery resulting in serious bodily injury. They appeared in court Wednesday, where they pleaded not guilty and were ordered to have no contact with the victim. Their bonds were set at $50,000 with no 10 percent allowed...
