Knightsville fire burns garage

Shortly after 2 p.m., Sunday, a fire broke out in a garage behind a residence at 9703 Weaver St. in Knightsville. Van Buren, Jackson Township and Center Point volunteer fire departments responded to the scene. The fire was whipped by windy conditions but the fire was contained in the garage in the residential neighborhood. A vehicle could be seen in the garage.
