‘Angel of Death’ dies at state prison

State prison officials report six-time convicted murderer Orville L. Majors died this weekend at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City. The 56-year-old Majors was reportedly breathing heavily and became unresponsive around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the Indiana Department of Correction. Correctional staff and medical personnel attempted life-saving measures; however, he was pronounced dead at Fransiscan Health Hospital in Michigan City less than an hour later.
