2nd Annual Hearts 4 Paws

The first event was such a success in 2018, Nailed It! is doing it again. Hearts 4 Paws is a fundraising event for the Clay County Humane Society where all funds raised will be donated to support the shelter’s efforts to take care of animals. Throughout February, the salon will donate $2 from every nail and hair service, and they will be accepting monetary donations to support the cause...

Four new Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers were recently sworn in by Clay Circuit Court Judge Joseph Trout, including Kylie Barnard, Mandy Shepherd, and Amy Hardey. Pat Beyers was unavailable for the photo. Clay County CASA Director Sarah Tellechea said new training for the child advocates begins at the end of March.
