Draining the softball diamond at Forest Park

To stop the flooding on the softball diamond at Forest Park crews recently installed a 12-inch drain line and a 36-inch catch basin to help drain the water from the field located in the northern section of the park. The softball park stays busy from May until October, said Brazil Parks and Recreation Superintendent Marv Moon, from various leagues from the YMCA.
