Program about first woman lawyer in the State of Indiana, quilt giveaway

The Clay County Historical Society will be meeting on July 11 at 7:00 pm in the lower level of the museum. Cheryl Steuerwald will be presenting a program about Elizabeth "Bessie" Eaglesfield, the first woman lawyer in the State of Indiana. The Eaglesfield family lived in the National Register home at the Putnam-Clay line. This will be a very interesting program and the Americana quilt will be given away at this meeting.
