That is how Joe Holechko described his experience on a recent Honor Flight. Holechko, 94, served our country during World War II. He was just 17 years old when he joined the Army Air Corp. He served in Japan from March, 1947 to May, 1949. During those 28 months, Holechko did not get a furlough to come home and visit his family in Brazil.
