Peggy Ann (Howard) Wells, 81, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Cloverleaf Health Care, on May 11, 2024.

Peggy was born on August 16, 1942, in Brazil, Indiana, the daughter of Harold and Mary (Murphy) Howard. She graduated from Brazil High School and worked as a clerk at Putnamville Correctional Facility.

When she wasn’t working Peggy enjoyed playing cards and shuffleboard. She was also a member of the Eagles and Moose.

She was preceded in death by her sisters: Barbara Tolbert and Carol Wentz.

Survivors include her daughter Bobbie Ringo; grandchildren: Connor Ringo, Trevor Ringo, Maddie Ringo, and Shelby Boutwell.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Avenue Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Services will be held at the funeral home, on Thursday, at 1:00 PM. Private burial services will be held at a later time.
