Vicki Lynn (Morris) Archer Kesler, 78, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at her home in Martinsville. She was born Sunday, February 24, 1946 to the late Everett and Norma (White) Morris in Brazil, Indiana. Vicki studied psychology at Indiana State University and went on to have a long career as postmaster in Mecca, Indiana for several years. She was very proud of her service and loved the people in the community she served. Vicki was a loving mother and grandmother who valued education and had a special place in her heart for animals. Vicki was an avid music lover, likely to break into song at any time. She could occasionally be a bit snarky but was known for her beautiful smile and contagious laughter. She is survived by her son, Daniel Archer and wife Tracy; grandchildren, Dylan Archer and Lue Beardsley; brother, Charlie Morris and wife Debbie; sister-in-law, Suna Morris; brother-in-law, Larry Marlow; nieces and nephews, Vanessa Ferguson, Sean Marlow, Amanda Lee, Jason Morris, Chad Morris, Josh Morris, Adam Morris; great nieces and nephews, Rachael, Olivia, Hannah, Brendan, Rye, Ayla, Meredith, Jayden, Rylan, Warren, Mikayla, Kirsten, Cody, and her cherished cat, Syd. Preceding her in death are her parents, Everett and Norma; brother, Bill Morris; sister, Linda Marlow and daughter Kimberly Archer. A Celebration of Life honoring Vicki will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lil Bit of Heaven Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Poland, Indiana.
