Earl Keith Stearley, 68, passed away unexpectedly on June 21, 2024. Earl was born to the late Donald and Elizabeth (Steinberger) Stearley on March 25, 1956 in Brazil.

Earl graduated from South Putnam High School. Earl worked as a supervisor at Great Dane for 40 years until retirement. After retirement, he decided to become a security guard for Securitas at the rear gate of Great Dane. Earl loved projects around the house, mowing the yard, hunting, fishing, bird watching, and watching the squirrels in his front yard. In his free time, he loved going camping with his family. Earl also enjoyed bowling until health reasons prevented it. He was a huge animal lover and was even in the process of starting a mini farm. Earl’s family was the light of his life.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents one son, Dewayne Earl Stearley, two nephews, Eddie Shoemaker Jr. and Dominic Arthur.

Earl is survived by his wife Kathy, six children, Brian Stearley (Kimberley), Troy Stearley (Jessica), Chet Fulk (Toby), Jason Fulk (Rochelle), Nicolle Fulk (Brandon), and Samantha Shake (Jordan), many grandchildren, and great grandchildren, siblings, Linda Shoemaker, Kelly Stearley, as well as many nieces and nephews and his very special Great Dane family.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 25th from 11-1 at Lawson Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Jeff Bridgewater will begin at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
