Clay County Therapist Named Hamilton Center Employee Of The Year

Brazil resident Sabrina Harroll was named Employee of the Year by Hamilton Center, Inc. for the 2023-24 fiscal year, which ended June 30.

Harroll has been employed with HCI since February of 2014 and moved into a therapist position in the company’s Clay County office in 2022. She recently passed her Licensed Clinical Social Worker exam.

“We are thrilled to honor Ms. Harroll for the fine work she does with consumers at our Clay County office,” said Melvin L. Burks, HCI’s President and CEO.  “She has a great connection with people and cares deeply about the consumers she sees,” he stated. “We are honored to have her on our team.”

She had previously been honored as an Employee of the Quarter in the 2021-22 fiscal year. Harroll began as a program assistant in the in-patient unit before moving up to an administrative assistant position and then a grant facilitator/care manager role.

The award was presented at the company’s annual Employee Kickoff on Friday at Indiana State University’s Tilson Hall.
