Excitement was in the air for the 8th annual Route 40 Festival

The fog cleared the air, making for a lovely day for Brazil Main Street’s eighth annual Route 40 Festival, the largest single-day event in Indiana.

People parked in nearby lots and wandered around the more than 240 booths and many vendors, along with the food booths located near Brazil City Hall, before the open ceremonies started at 11 a.m.

Thousands of people enjoyed the clear skies and warm temperatures during the event, which always provides families with many new exciting things, including live entertainment of all musical genres, a vehicle cruise-in, food trucks, craft vendors, kids zone activities, and more
