Preview of Clay Community School Board meeting

The Clay Community School Board of Trustees will meet at its regular monthly session on Thursday, October 10, at 7 p.m. at the Central Administrative Office.

To prepare for this meeting, the board has held two special monthly sessions involving housekeeping items concerning the budget, teachers' contracts, and various handbook revisions.

Besides those items on the agenda this Thursday, upcoming new items include:

A. Adoption of 2025 Budget, Capital Projects Plan, and School Bus Replacement Plan

B. 2025-26 CCS School Calendar

C. Summer of Learning Grant Request

D. Supplemental Payment Resolution

E. Permission to accept a donation from Clay City Sports Boosters

F. Brazil Public Library Board Appointment

Van Buren Elementary Principal Derick Tipton will also attend the meeting to present as part of the monthly school updates.

The School Board of Trustees' monthly meetings take place in the Board Room of the Central Administrative Office, 1013 S. Forest Avenue, Brazil. The meeting site is fully accessible to all.
