Preliminary details about joint investigation and arrest of Turner man Friday

The Clay County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) is releasing preliminary details in a joint investigation and arrest leading to the arrest of a Turner man Friday afternoon.

Detectives from the CCSO were assisted by the Terre Haute Police Department, Indiana State Police, and the Clay County Probation Department during the arrest of David Ziemendorf, 47, Terre Haute.

Ziemendorf was arrested Friday on a federal arrest warrant issued by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

Ziemendorf was arrested and transported to the Clay County Justice Center and remanded in the custody of the Jail Staff shortly after noon on charges of Distribution of a Controlled Substance and being held for another agency.
