BRADLEY ALLEN SMITH, Brazil, IN

Bradley Allen Smith, 63, of Brazil, Indiana passed away on October 19, 2024, following a short battle with Large B Cell Lymphona.

Brad was born on June 21, 1961, in Princeton, Indiana, the son of Gary and Mary Lou (Dyball) Smith. He graduated from Rosedale High School with the class of 1979 and later from Ivy Tech University with a degree in Business.

Brad worked as a salesman in the water & sewage industry for 35+ years and currently worked for DXP Enterprises. He was a long standing member of the Indiana Section of the American Water Works Association where he volunteered and served on committees for 25+ years, Indiana Water Environment Association, and the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water Association.

Brad was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion & the Moose where he liked to play pool on his pool league. He enjoyed golfing, watching his grandkids play sports, and knew just about every sports history fact there was. He especially loved going on jeep rides with his wife & hanging out with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father Gary Smith.

Survivors include his wife Terri Smith whom he married on August 10, 1985; kids: Jeffrey Smith (Dawn Meeker), Jared Smith (Megan Williams), and Jenna Smith (Jake Purcell); grandkids: Bowen Smith, Haisley Smith, Hinley Smith, Harper Purcell, and Tucker Purcell; brothers: Stanley Smith (Lisa) and Rodney Smith (Sherry); mother Mary Lou Smith; and step-mother Dora Smith; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be at Lawson - Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Services will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Chris Gregg officiating.
