GARY LEE HAYDEN, Terre Haute, IN

Gary Lee Hayden, 82, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

He was born on September 29, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Harold Hayden and Juanita Shoals Hayden. Gary graduated from Graysville High School in 1960 and ISU with his bachelor’s degree in Education. He was a retired realtor and lifelong businessman. Gary was a realtor with Century 21 and New Homes America in Georgia and Florida. He also owned and operated The Haystack in Graysville. Gary was an incorporator & officer of the non-profit Turman Township Youth Foundation. He was on the founding board of the Luke House/Ruth House.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents and son, Justin Hayden.

Survivors include his life partner Darla Campbell of Terre Haute, Indiana, son, Bradley Hayden of Terre Haute, Indiana, daughter, Stephanie Hayden of Terre Haute, Indiana, Darla’s son, Calvin Campbell, three granddaughters; Amber, Danielle and Brittany and three great-grandchildren; Kylan, Brynlee and Brayson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 11, 2024, at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Susie Pierce officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Brust Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Graysville, Indiana.
