Details about an overturned farm semi-truck accident near Cory on Tuesday evening are limited.

According to Clay County Sheriff Brison Swearingen, Clay County 911 Dispatch received a call at approximately 6:15 p.m. Tuesday reporting a driver trapped in an overturned semi.

Within minutes, members of the Clay County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police, Star Ambulance, and Corey Volunteer Fire departments responded to the scene.

An unidentified driver was extricated from the vehicle with minimal injuries and transported to Terre Haute Union Hospital. NOTE: HIPAA laws prevent details about a person’s injuries or medical information from becoming public and respect the person’s privacy. The Brazil Times will follow up on these incidents when more information becomes available.

Officers are investigating the cause now, so there are no further details.

Poor Boys Towing is currently on the scene helping to upright the overturned semi.
